We are delivering a Social PR campaign engaging with ambient music fans and the Mind, Body & Spirit community for Just Music. They have put together a compilation ‘Ambient Zone’ which includes the most relaxing song ‘Weightless' by Marconi Union. The track was commissioned by Radox in 2012 and is scientifically proven to be the most relaxing track in the world. This is the first time it has been available to buy.
Author John C. Parkin has been running a successful Facebook page for the past 2-3 years. His book âF**K It, The Ultimate Spiritual Guideâ has sold 150,000 copies worldwide plus he runs âF**k Itâ retreats & workshops in Italy & the UK with his wife Gaia. They have built a very healthy community of 35k on Facebook during this time, mainly posting inspiring F**k It affirmations and questions as text updates. We came on board in early June 2012, to deliver consultancy across their social media.
Our first suggestion; turn these affirmations into jpegs and increase the frequency of the posts… Here is a comparison of activity for the 2 months before we came on board and the 2 months after! We are very pleased with the results so far!
The increase in impressions has been driven by a much higher number of users sharing this content, creating a fast and effective viral reach. Â It seems people are much more likely to share a Jpeg than a text update. Sometimes simple tweaks can have a big effect!

We consulted for Sony Music on Kyla La Grange's social media channels in 2012 around the release of her highly acclaimed album “Ashes” and helped Kyla and her team get set up to manage them in-house. It was great to be involved in the start of what we are sure will be a long & highly successful career. Check her out.
We have been busy bees over the past few months and have a couple of new Kdot projects to announce.
Firstly, social media planning and strategy for singer/songwriter Kristyna Myles, a recent signing for Universal / Decca, Kyla La Grange for Sony, managed by Joe Taylor & co. at ATC / Nuxx.
We have also recently started working with Emma Forbes for DCD Publishing, managing EmmaForbes.com and Emma’s other social platforms (twitter, Insta.g & Pinterest) alongside Social PR campaigns.
We continue to work with The Duchess of Northumberland and DCD alongside Harper Collins, and have been retained until 2013 on The Poison Diaries Teen Trilogy and Poison Diaries brand, looking after all their platforms (website, Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter, Insta.g & Pinterest).
New to Kdot is lifestyle / holistic brand "Fuck It" who deliver relaxation retreats, workshops, books, online courses, magic tea and chocolate! John C. Parkin and Gaia are behind the very successful book, "Fuck It, The Ultimate Spiritual Way" which has over sold 150,000 worldwide through Hay House Publishing.Â We can now happily mumble expletives all day long here at Kdot Towers, as we take on social consultancy for this exciting brand.
