Katie Pearl hails from South London but born in Luton and raised in St. Albans, listening to her miraculous range of vocals, it is hard to define where she gets her soul from. Encouraged by her dad Dalton to sing after she wooed church goers from the age of 8, it was irrelevant what people had planned for her or wanted her to do, it was apparent Katie was destined to sing.
Deciding to concentrate on her school work after emulating Kele Le Roc’s ‘My Love’ on “Stars in Your Eyes” and coming 6th overall in the nationwide competition, Katie Pearl hit the UK Music scene early this year with the huge club smash ‘In The Air’ produced by Perempay n Dee. However Katie’s journey has been a progressive and impactful introduction to the UK Music scene having worked with the likes of Bashy, Kano, Asher D, Wiley and Ghetto, just to name a few.
Katie has an array of tracks waiting to be released including club smashers, commercial R n B hits and non generic pop, from producers such as Harmony, Davinche & Soundboy to name just a few. So stay tuned and watch this jewel, Katie Pearl a UK gem.
