Lisa Maffia is a lady of many talents, with modelling, presenting, singing and songwriting and serving as an ambassador for The Princes Trust to name but a few! She was thrown into to spotlight as a member of So Solid Crew in 2001, an act that managed 5 songs in the top 20 with platinum selling anthem single “21 Seconds” and a platinum selling album ‘They Don’t Know’.
Her debut solo album album ‘First Lady’ was released in 2003 with single ‘All Over’ topping at number 2 in the uk charts. It was no wonder that the same year she won the MOBO award for Best UK Garage Act. She then went on to support Christina Aguilera on her European tour. Lisa has spent time working on new material at the famous Merlin studios in Sweden, and is due to release a brand new album.
Lisa has also been in high demand for modelling work, resulting in various calendar releases and being voted onto FHM’s Hot 100 and Nuts Magazine polls.
With the success of her solo career, Lisa also has moved into television, with appearances on Top Of The Pops, CD:UK, and ITV’s The Games, where she won a Silver medal. She recently had huge success as she was declared the winner of ITV2 series ‘Celeb Air’.
