The band wrapped up their career in 2004 with a greatest hits album released shortly after
The following year Simon embarked on his solo career. He’s released an amazing two albums to date. His debut solo release ‘Sancturary’ included two top 5 singles ‘Lay Your Hands’ and ‘No Worries’ and eventually went double-platinum. The next year saw the launch of Simon’s second album, peaking at Number 11 on the UK charts and this was followed by a solo tour across the UK. As if this wasn’t enough- Simon had been pursuing an acting career since leaving Blue. With roles in ‘The Truth About Love’ alongside Jennifer Love Hewitt in 2004, British gangster movie ‘Rollin’ With The Nines’ in 2006 and action movie ‘Run’

This year Simon set out to conquer his fears on ITV’s ‘Im A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!’. Simon seemed quite nervous on entering the jungle; “I’m afraid of everything and I’m not ashamed to say it. I don’t like heights and I don’t swim. So I don’t know why I’m going to the jungle”. On 3rd December, after over 2 weeks Simon came an impressive 5th place. After his eviction he said he was still “terrified of spiders” and had not conquered his fear of water!
Simon is due to release an album later this year and can be booked through Kdot for live pa’s, so watch this space….
